SUPERVISES: None
CONTACTS: Internal: Entity HR Business Partners and Compensation & Benefits
Practitioners in Asia-Pacific South (APS) region, C&B teams in
Corporate, APN and Europe, Business Leaders in APS
External: Compensation & Benefits survey consulting companies, HR
Benefits service providers, Government Labor
Authorities/Organizations and HR Interest/Networking Groups
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Educate, advise, share market intelligence and design compensation
and benefits programs for all employees.
Help HR Business partners become knowledgeable and responsive to
their customers on C&B matters.
Provide competitive and compliant C&B programs.
Help business leaders make sound C&B decisions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1 Build understanding of the MBM (Market-Based Management) principles and
compensation philosophy, in addition to technical C&B concepts and principles, and
impart/share such knowledge with our HR business partners, C&B practitioners and
supervisors, and help them apply these in their compensation and benefits review and
recommendations.
2 Act as a consultant to our HR business partners and business leaders, able to give
advice on the MBM Incentives dimension. C&B advice and design solutions that meet
business and organization needs.
3 Design compensation and benefits solutions and programs that meet business and
organization needs, are in compliant with local labor regulations and consistent with
our compensation philosophy and are in line with market practice.
4 Identify and recommend providers of market compensation and benefits surveys for
participation. Oversee the annual data submission process for these surveys for
Greater China entities.
5 Actively conduct analysis of internal compensation data as well as market intelligence,
and provide data that will be useful to entity HR and business leaders in making
operational and business decisions.
6 Manage the job review/grading activities for all exempt and non-exempt positions in
Greater China. Conduct job analysis, evaluation and grade calibration and ensure the
global grading system in consistently applied across.
7 Conduct market benchmarking and market price jobs, and develop pay ranges to help
HR business partners and supervisors make compensation recommendations.
8 Conduct compensation recommendation audit and participate in the challenge process
with the entity HR and supervisors during the annual compensation cycle.
9 Understand, support and contribute to current Molex Total Quality Management
(TQM), Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental,
and/or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies
and procedures.
10 Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
SCOPE: Responsible for providing C&B support to entities in Greater China.
EDUCATION
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR or related field or equivalent
experience
Preferred:
WORK RELATED EXPERIENCE:
Required:
? 8+ years of experience in in Compensation & Benefits with demonstrated skills
and proficiency in applying the principles, concepts and techniques of
compensation and benefits analysis
Preferred:
? HR experience in manufacturing environment
SKILLS:
Required:
? Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
? Knowledge of related labor laws/regulations
? Meticulous with strong analytical skills
? Experience with HRIS system
? Fluent in English and Mandarin
? Good communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred:
? Knowledge and experience in SAP and online job evaluation systems
? Experience with market C&B surveys
? Good communication and interpersonal skills
OTHER: Occasional travel to plant locations
