Job Requirements:
Power tools/Air tools/ Handtools industry.
At Least 5 years working experiences with sourcing.
1.Relationship Building –establishes rapport easily and develops and maintains a network of contacts
2.Direct Persuasion / Negotiation – convinces others by presenting logical arguments and using language tailored to audience
3.Analytical Thinking – breaks down complex problems or tasks to generate detailed plans
4.Conceptual Thinking – can apply concepts and principles to draw conclusions based on diverse information
5.Initiative – able to act in a self-directed way, by taking effective action before being directed
6.Technical Expertise – extensive or in-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes
7.Flexibility – adapts easily to change
8.Tenacity – sticks with a difficult task even when faced with obstacles or rejection
9.Teamwork –works cooperatively with others
Job Responsibility:
1. Team up with overseas customers, regular communication and follow up projects for timely completion
2. Work with Quality Assurance for supplier audits
3. Work with Logistics Department to resolve delivery issues
4. Drive supplier performance improvement in on-time delivery, quality, product cost, inventory and lead-time. Use corrective action process to manage supplier performance and hold suppliers accountable
5. Research and analyze assigned category to ensure expertise in product/application/ market/economic/industry/emerging technologies to establish new product and business opportunities
6. Assess competitor positions, product offerings, markets, and performance
7. Partner with overseas customer(s) to lead new product development and implementation to ensure continuity of ideas from concept to profitable product offering
8. Manage and negotiate all elements of supplier selection and supplier relationships
9. Champion lean tools to drive performance improvement in supply base and department
10. Update price information to Financial & IT Departments
11. Prepare reports for management and to track own progress
