Requirements:

1. More than 6 years furniture experience. At least 3 years’ experience as Independent / Leading Merchandiser working level.
2. Good command of oral and written English and Chinese, fluency in Mandarin preferred;
3. Good negotiation skill with factory and customer.
4. Strong supplier support background, have enough good relationship factory for middle to high level furniture market.
5. Know veneer panel, solid wood, glass metal furniture very well.
6. Independently PD ability based on customer sketch, idea and CAD drawing.
7. Team worker and hard worker.
8. Computer Skills: Able to use Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, etc) professionally.

Job Purpose:

To provide quality merchandising service to customers, through order coordination and follow-up, to assist in the achievement of division's business objectives


Job Descriptions:

1. Follow up orders with vendors, customers, and internal parties to ensure customer satisfaction and on-time delivery
- Review Purchase Orders
- Obtain quotations from and negotiate price with vendors
- Monitor and check production status
- Resolve conflicts between buyers and factories, e.g. delivery delay


2. Product Development which meet customers' quality and budget requirements
- Source products based on customer requirement.
- Promote good products based on well known market and customer.
- Source new vendors.
- Provide advice on design and samples to meet customers' requirements


3. Maintain strong business relationships with vendors for product development and production
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with vendors
- Evaluate vendors' capability
- Keep track of vendors' performance


4. Arrange sample submission to customers for approval
- Inspect samples with QC.
- Pack and send samples
5. Perform other duties as assigned by Management
