Business
- Lead country Non-manufacturing safety program to support China Non-Manufacturing functions to achieve the company’s safety goals
- Day to day safety & health supervision, direction and support for Ingredion Shanghai facility to achieve the company’s safety goals
- Lead programs such as improvement plan, special safety programs, trainings, OHS related assessments, governmental affairs, local functional support and other programs to strive for creating a zero injury work place.
- Deliver China EHS Improvement Plan in a comprehensive and practical way and ensure the implementation is fully understood.
- Maintain Safety and Occupational Health (OHS) procedures/permits and records in line with corporate manual.
- Act as China Administrator for EXP database
- Summarize monthly EHS events reviews and reports.
- Be acute with applicable regulations at early stage & respond proactively
Agility and Innovation
- Cross functional support to work out solutions in a safe, legal, practical and sustainable manner.
- Focus on Increasing staff safety awareness
Relationships and People
- Build up good relationship with local authorities.
- Network with relevant government departments to understand regulatory trends and complete governmental work.
- Bond and leverage trusted, supportive relationship with regional EHS colleagues and local functional safety coordinators to drive safety excellence.
- Deliver additional value at safety side by customer support/interaction.
Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements:
? Bachelor degree or above, with major in Occupational Safety or equivalent
? 3-5 years safety work experience
? Demonstrated hands on ability
? Able to speak, read and write in English
? Multinational EHS experience is preferred
