Role (Purpose of the job)
To provide daily IT support to Volvo users worldwide for web based application systems and continuously improve system functionality and performance.
Key Responsibility
1. Provide excellent daily support to Volvo users worldwide to protect on-going business.
2. Proactively identify improvement areas including system, business process and IT support process.
3. Monitor system performance.
4. Continuously improve system functionality and performance and related processes.
5. Responsible for system version upgrade activity.
6. Regularly communicate with business users and customers about service level, business requirements and seek feedback.
7. Develop and enhance IT service management processes.
8. Analyse business requirements and provide sound system solutions.

Main competence requirements
1. Around 2 – 5 years of working experience in IT web based application area, working in MNC is a plus.
2. More than 2 years of experience in IT web based application system service or development project.
3. Solid experiences in MS SQL server and web based development such as .Net, ASP.Net, C#, JavaScript and development tools such as Visio Studio.
4. Good experiences in WCF/Web services, experience in Web Client Software Factory is a plus.
5. Holding MCAD / MCSD certificates is a plus.
6. Proved documenting skills, good sense on knowledge management.
7. Holding ITIL certificates is a plus, good sense of customer service.
8. Good communications skills and the ability to work well with people with diverse culture background.
9. Strong initiative-taking and follow-through skills, strong ownership and sense of responsibility.
10. Good thinking and problem solving skill, the ability to deal with ambiguity.
11. Ability to work effectively in a flexible, changing and challenging environment, manage multiple activities and priorities and work well under pressure.
12. Good business acumen and business knowledge in supply chain, working experiences in auto industry is a plus.
13. Good learning agility.
14. A good team player.
15. Good business writing skills.
16. Excellent oral and written English skills
17. Bachelor degree.
