职位描述

Construction Service Business - Area Manager in Chengdu, Chongqing,

reports to North and Western China Manager

Role Statement:

The job incumbent is responsible for all the commercial, technical, financial, administrative and operational activities related to the Business Unit/Line in his/her area of responsibility and for the monthly reporting on the results and progress. He/she is responsible for the day-to-day management of his/her staff and business. He/she performs the job in the framework of the BV HSE Management Processes, BV Quality Assurance System; the BV Code of Ethics and appropriate Group Policies.


ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Develop a business plan and a three-year plan, targeting action and profitability in accordance with the general guidelines, the global and local objectives and local governmental policies
2. Implement corporate standards in the area of responsibility (e.g. Code of Ethics, Values, company identity, policies, procedures, etc.)
3. Monitor and analyze the Business Unit / Line activities against the business plans, analyze the business equation and, if necessary, take corrective actions
4. Consolidate specific figures and information of Business Unit / Line to forward to Senior Management
5. Ensure a continuous contact and information exchange with internal and external interfaces (HR-Finance & Administration-IT)
6. Contribute to the development of Business Unit / Line business by participating in workshops and organizing PR and Marketing events
7. Plan, implement and control the cost budget in the area of responsibility in cooperation with superior, and manage activities in case of deviations

8. Lead employees in the area of responsibility in agreement with superior (individual development, motivation, training, assessment and feedback, etc.)
9. Ensure operational targets and control with superior
10. Initiate and take the lead to ensure a reasonable staffing in the area of responsibility approved by superior and HR
11. Build up top level relations to the largest accounts in the area of responsibility
12. Participate in the development and implementation of local company policies
13. Responsible for the coordination of projects conducted for local/global clients with the collaboration of other Business Lines
14. Define operational targets for direct reports
15. Responsible for the interaction with all the internal and external suppliers
16. Organize dedicated PR and Marketing events foreseen in budget
17. Other tasks assigned by the company



MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & OTHER REQUIREMENTS
1. Education: Bachelor degree or equivalent level, with focus on business or relevant field
2. Working experience: 8+ years experiences in the related field/industry, preferably from an international company, 3+ years on management positions
3. P&L experience desirable
4. Proven leadership ability
5. Excellent communication and business acumen
6. Can work under pressure and self-motivated
7. Knowledge on country’s legal, fiscal and labor conditions
8. Good English skills
9. PC skills
10. Good health is required
