Job Title: Sourcing Quality and Development (SQD)
Location: Tianjin, China
Direct reporting: Regional Sourcing Director
Indirect reporting: Head of Central SQD

Responsibilities:
Supplier Qualification
? Support KCMs on the creation of a global supplier base following the commodity strategy
? Ensure Supplier panel is consistently qualified to produce goods in line with Sourcing strategies.
? Coordinate and lead the activities following the process “0422 Supplier Qualification and Selection”:
？ Identification of potential suppliers globally
？ Evaluation of supplier data and information
？ Perform necessary audits
？ Ensure when necessary other specific expert qualifications (e.g. Design and/or Process audits)
? Qualify supplier to go to “Final Selection” phase where a kick-off meeting is done and transferred to Process Engineering for product and supplier homologation.
? Support and participate to the final process for selecting the preferred suppliers on a global basis.
? Maintain update records of all the data gathered (KPI).

Supplier Performance rating:
? Support KCMs on the creation of the necessary actions plans after the results of periodic supplier performance evaluation.
? Re-qualify necessary suppliers in case of low performance results

Supplier Development:
? Coordinate and lead supplier development projects following the process, to improve key supplier’s performance and capabilities regarding total cost, quality, delivery performance, development and management, to meet Wind’s short-term and long-term supply needs:
？ Identify key suppliers willing to commit with development process
？ Identify development projects with the most potential benefit
？ Perform an efficient allocation of human and economic resources
？ Set up the project internally and at supplier side
？ Measure accurately the improvements on the supplier performance and its benefits to Alstom.
? Booster the further development of key serial supplier and continuous improvements of supply base
? Obtain necessary support from all the parties to carry out development project.

Requirement:
? Degree in Engineering;
? At least 5 year working experience. From them at least 3 year of experience in Supply Chain, Supplier Qualification and/or Quality Assurance and/or Supplier Development.
? Solid background in industrial/technical environments.
? Experience and knowledge of manufacturing processes for structural components, castings, forgings, machining, surface treatments.
? Experience in ISO 9001 audits will be appreciated.
? Knowledge of wind supply chain and experience with Wind logistic suppliers will be appreciated.
? Knowledge of offshore wind market and/or technology will be appreciated.
? Experience in coordinating projects and cross functional teams.
? Fluent Spanish and English.
? Preparing and leading workshops with suppliers and internal departments.
? Capacity to undertake full process and quality audits.
? Selecting and qualifying suppliers/building the supplier panel.
? Planning & organizing.
