Essential Responsibilities

Be a focal point for GE Oil & Gas & lead the development & execution of short, medium and
long term, global commodity strategies for their procured materials.
· Drive the integration of strategies into the design and / or manufacturing objectives as well
as supporting GE O&G businesses market strategies.
· Develop complex, global & comprehensive supplier/buyer contractual and strategic
relationships.
· Develop negotiations strategies and drive negotiations to achieve stated goals & objectives.
· With Technology partners or team members & in accordance w/the strategy, drive supplier
selection, development, & overall supplier management.
· Be an integral member of the Global Sourcing Team.
· Drive Sourcing Initiatives including deflation, cycle reduction, Low Cost Country Sourcing,
Lean, and cash flow improvement.

Qualifications/Requirements

· BS/BA Degree (Technical , Engineering or Business preferred).
· Minimum 6 years sourcing /operational experience.
· Cross-functional and International team experience.
· Fluent in English
· Demonstrated negotiation skills, contract development and business law knowledge.
· Demonstrated technical aptitude & business acumen.
· High motivational, influencing and presentation skills
· Excellent written and verbal communicator with strong interpersonal / facilitations kills
· Proactive self-starter. Change agent with demonstrated track record of success
· International Strategic Alliance experience.
· Electrical rotating machines, industrial controls and electrical components supply chain
knowledge
· Able to travel
· Greenbelt Certified (GE employees only)
· Familiar with ERP systems
· Oil & Gas Market or Energy market knowledge
