What are my responsibilities?
- Develop embedded software for Siemens product and test code
- Technology innovation and predevelopment for Process meters (flow meter, pressure meter, and level sensors, etc.) for Industry Automation applications
- Carry out or support test of newly developed products
- Technical support for Siemens global and local manufacturers
- Related patent study and products analysis

What do i need to qualify for this job?

- Master+ degree in Automation, Computer Science, EE.
- A senior background in Software Engineering.
- A proven track record of research & development in process instrument meter or controller, showing strong analytic and system engineering capabilities.
- 5+ years experiences in embedded software development using C++, on top of ARM with a RTOS (e.g., embOS), especially low power application.
- Good at System design by UML with Rhapsody
- Good at IAR development environment
- Familiar with software test automation. Experience in using Cantata++ is an advantage.
- Experience in function safety critical product design. Experience in IEC61508 is a big advantage.
- Be able to quickly absorb the necessary know-how in a new subject matter domain, including related standards and constraints.
- Familiar with configuration management and related tool, e.g. ClearCase.
- Actual experience in CMM or CMMi practice
- Fluent in English, orally as well as in writing
- Experience in one multinational company would be an advantage
