Responsibilities:

The incumbent will be joining the Global Lubricants organization at a key time for the business as it continues its journey to world-class operations,the purpose of this role is to ensure efficient planning and supply of base oils into the Lubricants Supply Chain to meet projected demand. This requires determination of the mid and long-term base oil supply requirements,communication of these to suppliers,identification and pro-active resolution of any constraints on behalf of the Region. The role also involves trade-off and prioritization decisions in cases where insufficient supply is available to meet the demand.

Operational planning of base oil supply:
The role owns the weekly operational base oil planning for China and Hong Kong. He/She ensures correct and meaningful base oil steering to each LOBP. Ensure the BO supply security to support overall regional FG OTIF targets.

Medium and Long Term planning responsibilities:
The role is to define and evaluate tactical options for resolution of supply constraints. He/She establishes a projected procurement plan to communicate to global LSC planning functions as well as to the base oil team in SETL to support commercial negotiations with 3rd Party suppliers.

Review of supply planning data / portfolio / inventory target:
The role is the operationally accountable person that ensures that for the supply portfolio all replenishment planning parameters are understood,reviewed and maintained. He/She owns the setting of the stocking strategy and relevant safety stocks,monitor and respond to inventory levels for the full planning horizon against targets defined (e.g. inventory days cover) for the supply portfolio.

Deliver the COGS saving target:
The role is respond to drive the continuous COGS saving for their supply portfolio in the region to support the regional SPANCO target; deep analysis on the COGS elements,proactively identify the cost saving opportunity,optimized application of cost competitive blending formulations,and effectively drive the saving realization for their supply portfolio via good team work and stakeholders engagement;

Requirements:

Minimum 8 years of strong experience in supply chain, procurement, and planning management in MNC, with good track record of results delivery against stretch target, able to make the continuous and sustainable delivery under stress;

Good experience with integrated SAP/ERP systems with good understanding of SAP material management and procurement functions, strong knowledge on supply master data management;

Manufacturing and logistics operations experience is an advantage, industrial exposure in Lubricant business is preferred;

Strategic and logical thinking, Commercial focus and business first mindset;

Excellent stakeholder management experience and communication / influence skills, present strong front line leadership skills;
