Responsibilities:
Develop comprehensive audit plans, covering both operations and finance, and review the systems of internal controls of various business units within the Group
Prepare and/or review internal planning process, audit programmes and procedures, processes internal documentation and reports on audit work in process
Perform and coordinate both operational, financial, integrated and information systems audits to ensure that internal controls and governance processes are properly designed and operate effectively and efficient
Carry out independent audits to identify deficiencies in the internal controls and risk management as well as operational efficiency and to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of risk management, within processes of the various organisational, business units, functional activities and corporate departments
Examine records of departments and interviewing staff to ensure recording of transactions and compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and company’s policies and procedures
Analyse the results of the audits and reviews, drawing conclusions and suggest value-added and feasible recommendations for improvement
Prepare reports of findings and recommendations for management through written reports and presentations; discussing with the auditees and agreeing on measures of improvement
Take up ad-hoc assignments as required
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years' sourcing and supply chain audit experience with MNC and 3~4 years in Big 4
University graduates in Accounting and related discipline
Member of accounting professional bodies
Good analytical and interpersonal skills, open minded, proactive, detail-minded and ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Good report writing skills
Good command of verbal and written communication in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
Frequent travelling within Asian region is required (up to 50%)
Established in 2005, our client is a sourcing and purchasing company with a long term exclusive purchasing agreement with the Swedish retail group.
