Job Title: Emissions Certification and Compliance Test Engineer
1. Role & Key Responsibilities:
-In support of whole vehicle certification and compliance, act as main point of reference for local authorities during inspections / compliance activities
-Data collection and analysis - feedback of data from test vehicles (including: durability demonstrations, COP and In Use) and problem resolution. Issue resolution may still require specialist help from the UK; however an ability to read, interpret, diagnose and fix issues on vehicles locally is essential.
-Data management – manage data quality and storage, provide regular feedback on tests vehicles performance and maintain vehicle service / repair histories.
-Provide accurate feedback of any issues encountered during certification and compliance
-Lead diagnostic investigations into any test vehicles not performing to targets / legislative limits
-Manage COP issues in close cooperation with local & UK team, act as liaison with authorities
-Lead in market emissions variability testing and data gathering – e.g. fuel sampling program and etc.
-Work with Team Leader and China Homologation team, to continuously improve the vehicle preparation / Test processes

2. Skills, experience and qualifications required:
-At least 4-5 years' experience working in an emissions related discipline (e.g. design, calibration, facilities & etc)
-Working knowledge of PT calibration tools and techniques.
-Working knowledge of whole vehicle diagnostic tool sets.
-Good communication & inter-personal skills, along with the ability to discuss technical issues with relevant engineering teams
-Thoroughness and accuracy of work is essential in ensuring jobs are delivered to requirements
-Computer literate with Word Processing, Spread Sheets and Power Point
-Engineering degree
-China driving license
-Good proficiency in English

3. Additional desirable skills / experiences (preferred):
-Practical experience of Bosch EMS software and system
-Good understanding of China emissions certification and compliance requirements
