Global Risk is a thriving and expert risk management function supporting HSBC globally with all aspects of risk management. The team actively manages a varied and dynamic range of risk types, including security, fraud, information security, operational, credit, pension, insurance, compliance, regulatory, market, reputation and geopolitical risks. All parts of the Global Risk team use their skills, insight and integrity to handle established threats and those they see emerging, acting to protect and enable HSBC to deliver sustainable growth.

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

-Protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the Bank’s information assets through strategic use of technology to achieve business security competitiveness

-Manage access management provisioning and ensure server security compliance.

-Controlling system threat management and track threat issues through to resolution.

-Assess vulnerabilities and implement safeguard recommendations.

-Monitor the security control of bank systems and follow up exceptions found

-Implement information security risk controls according to group requirements

-Provide IT infrastructure security advice to HTS to facility the security setup of IT systems and network

-Conduct risk assessment with recommendations during application security review to mitigate pertinent risks

-Providing consultant advice, and guidance to HTS and business to facilitate adherence to the Group security requirements

-Manage IT security incidents with related IT and business shareholders.

-Provide support to head office and branch on regulation compliance, regualtor inspection and internal/external audit on IT security area.

Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

-Bachelor's degree or above and majored in computer science or other related area

-Demonstrable experience in IT security and/or risk management with at least 5 years of Info Security working experience.

-Certified information security related professional (CISSP, CISA, etc) is a definite advantage.

-Quick learning, proactive and ability to work in pressure

-Good interpersonal and communication skills and good sense of teamwork

-Good English spoken and written skill

-Fluent Mandarin spoken and written skill

-Excellent understanding of and experience in implementing operational risk and regulatory compliance frameworks.

-Successfully complete Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions training and post-course assessment, as required
