About Audit and Assurance

Auditing today isn’t only about compliance or merely following rules. By providing a balanced, objective opinion on financial statements, you help to build trust between companies and their stakeholders, including investors. This trust depends on more than just numbers. It requires the application of your judgment and insight, drawing on both technical knowledge and commercial experience.

As our largest service line, you’ll experience a dynamic and fast moving working environment. From potential startups to multinational corporations, clients will look to you for advice on audit, regulatory, listing, private placement, corporate change, and a host of other business topics.

Responsibilities

• Understand the requirements of data analysis of industry and business via engagements
• Analyze transactional and statistical accounting and business data based on the engagements via various clients
• Explore the regularity, trends and correlations of data, and distinguish and define the categories of data
• According to the characteristics of data and requirement of analysis, select relevant and appropriate technology to complete model design and verification
• Perform a demonstration of data analysis and model implementation based on the engagement tasks and ensure that all required tasks are completed, appropriately documented
• Provide timely status updates to the engagement manager; ensure escalation of potential issues as well as project risks and potential roadblocks; actively seek clarification on engagement task requirements, processes, controls and technical matters

Qualification for Job

• At least 5 years of professional experience on data mining and data analysis in industries, or within an data modeling and analysis practice of consulting firm
• Strong academic history including a degree in statistics, computer science, management of information systems, accounting, financial engineering, economics or other related fields
• Strong preference is towards candidates that have experiences consulting or researching
• Ideally a professional qualification as Data Analysis Specialist
• Fundamental understanding and knowledge of SAP, Oracle, methodology of risk and control
• General Project Management expertise in a complex global or local organization
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
