About Risk Assurance

Business today is increasingly complex - from the way organisations are managed and structured, through increasing integration with business partners and service providers, to the ever greater levels of reliance placed on underlying information systems and business processes. In addition, new regulations - domestic and international - are placing a greater emphasis on the effectiveness of internal controls, and this often requires independent assurance. You will provide value-added insights that help to improve system and business control effectiveness across various organisations.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

We are looking for high-caliber people to provide support for the implementation of the Risk Assurance Other Assurance Services (“OAS”) growth strategy. The focus of the role will be to assist the BD Manager in client relationship management (CRM), to identify, promote and generate OAS business opportunities/leads, and to help drive business development efforts on priority accounts. This will include working with the lead relationship partners and relationship directors to identify opportunities, produce strategic plans, and help manage relationships and revenue information.

This will incorporate, but will not be limited to, the following tasks:

• Identify and manage and OAS opportunities under the guidance from the BD Manager;
• Assist the BD Manager to implement an effective and efficient CRM including maintaining a BD contact database, following up with contacts, preparing for key client meetings including following up after the meetings, and distribution of thought leadership to the clients;
• Drive and implement an effective account strategy by working with the BD Manager, Relationship Partner, and core account team;
• With guidance from the BD Manager and each respective Relationship Partner, take responsibility for managing / executing account team co-ordination and communications;
• Assist with gathering requirements for proposals and working with relevant teams to drive proposals
• Maintain our repository of client credentials;
• Help the BD manager and engagement teams to develop materials, points of view, and client conversation documents on key industry issues / hot topics, and/or new service offerings;
• Oversee targeted distribution of marketing and thought leadership pieces, and work with Marketing & Communications on customized events / workshops / seminars for clients; and
• Help translate materials from English to Chinese, as appropriate.

Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin and English (native Mandarin speaker preferred);
• Degree holder in Finance/Accounting or Marketing/Business Administration (or a related discipline);
• Three to five years' marketing or business development experience, ideally in a professional service environment (preferred but not required);
• Ability to think laterally and multitask;
• Strong organizational skills and able to work autonomously with minimal supervision; and
• A positive and willing-to-learn attitude.
