About Tax

Tax and regulatory issues are on top of the mind for many companies operating around the world today. As a tax professional, you’ll help organisations and individuals to maximise their tax efficiency and manage their tax risks. You’ll achieve this through the advice you give to your clients on conducting proper tax planning, and helping them to fully meet their tax compliance obligations.

Taxation in a fast-paced business environment is exciting and intellectually stimulating. To meet the challenges, you’ll need to constantly develop your tax knowledge and research skills. As you progress, you’ll likely become specialised in certain specific areas of tax and/or industry segments.

Job Descriptions：

We are currently looking for individuals with interest and experience to join this exciting new team. A degree in real estate, urban planning or similar plus experience in key issues related to urban development, including real estate, planning, transportation, finance and so on are required.

Key responsibilities:

• Do detailed research on specific sectors or industry drivers, gather relevant research information from a variety of sources and assess information for accuracy;
• Assist managers in delivering reports on time and within budget. Write up reports generally in powerpoint format in Chinese and / or English. Draft slides for reports using concise bullet points and illustrated with graphs and images related to the project and research material;
• Assist mangaers inpreparing proposals targeting specific issues highlighted during meetings with clients;
• Undertake site visits, phone interviews and similar in relation to project work or proposal preparation.

Requirements:

• University degree in real estate, urban planning or similar related qualification;
• For a senior associate, minimim two years’ experience with a reputable international professional/consulting firm in urban development, real estate market positioning, development zones, & etc.; or with a local or international developer or investment management firm;
• Knowledge and experience in retail, hotel, education, healthcare industries would be a plus;
• Knowlege in financial models would be a plus;
• If limited work experience an internship in a related industry would be a plus;
• Excellent communication skills in both oral and written English and Chinese;
• Flexible, self-starter possessing intellectual curiosity;
• Effective project management and interpersonal skills are essential;
• Flexibility to travel to out-of-town engagements.
