We help clients implement their business strategies by working with them to build effective organisations, innovate and grow, reduce their costs, manage crises, manage risk and navigate regulation, maximise their human resources, execute better deals, and restructure troubled businesses.

About Deals

We work together with clients to create greater value in their mergers, acquisitions, disposals and restructuring by helping them to:

• Develop the right strategy before the deal
• Execute their deals seamlessly
• Identify issues and points of negotiation and value
• Implement change strategies to deliver synergies and improvements after the deal

We also help clients assess the options available in troubled financial situations and advise on restructuring and maximising value.

Job Descriptions:

Analyse the business performance of corporate clients for the purpose of debt restructuring and restoring value for stakeholders;

Assist in providing advice to stakeholders on restructuring and recovery strategies in distressed companies and distressed transactions;

Assisting on the insolvency appointments including attending on site to take control of the assets;

Gathering information, meeting suppliers, customers, employees and other stakeholders;

Be involved in the asset realisation, creditor management process and statutory and other reporting in formal insolvencies;

Assist in dealing with stakeholders and other professionals; and

Manage projects independently, including overseeing the execution team in performing the fieldwork, preparation of high quality deliverables and proposals, and perform risk management procedures.

Requirements:

• Degree in accounting or business or related discipline with professional qualifications (including CPA and/or CFA);
• Three years' relevant experience in auditing, consulting or advisory work, specifically in the area of corporate restructuring or distressed transactions in China will be favourably considered;
• Excellent financial and business analytical skills;
• Ability to think strategically;
• Hands-on approach to unravelling commercial complexities; Team players, who work effectively under pressure;
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills (both English and Mandarin);
• Excellent written English and Chinese, including the ability to write succinct, well-structured report;and
• Flexibility and willingness to travel, mostly to China, is a must.
