About Internal Firm Services
In order to deliver a first-class service to our clients, we need first-class support internally.
Our Internal Firm Services (IFS) is a network of specialist support professionals who play a vital
role in ensuring we have all the right resources, services and technology. Not all of us work
directly with external clients. Some of our best people choose to apply their talents as part of
IFS and as such are a part of an organisation on a par with many of our external clients.

Our teams in IFS include: Administration, Branded Merchandise, Business Development, Finance,
Global PwC Experience, Global Technology Solutions, Human Resources, Marketing & Communications,
Office of General Counsel, Research, and Senior Partner Office.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Support the department head to drive the regional strategy, design,
  development,implementation and delivery of various communications with adherence to the overall
  firm business objectives, philosophy, policy and procedures;
• Work with senior management of different practice groups and with different team members in
  the region to maximise project results and cost efficiency;
• Stay up to date with the latest industry and communications technology and trends, and
  advise latest communications channels that serve the changing business requirements; and
• The person will responsible for working with the media team and the account servicing teams
  in M&C (i.e, Assurance, Tax, Deals and Consulting) to bring the PwC brand to life and develop plans
  which focus on the brand in business.

Firm activity (internal) (60% of time)

• Work closely with other teams in M&C to support events/activities for assigned projects;
• Drive and support firmwide programmes as assigned by the department head;
• Connect with broader market teams to share best practices.

Market facing activity (external) (40% of time):

• Develop relationships with associations, business groups, and media channels and identify
  appropriate PwC experts to introduce into the relationship;
• Build profiles of potential partners in the business community via networking with
  associations， business groups and media channels;
• Identify and qualify business opportunities (e.g., sponsorship, client hospitality,
  speaking engagements, thought leadership) that can be followed up by the account teams.

Reporting structure & key relationships:
Reports to M&C Department Head in Shanghai

Requirements:

• Masters or Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Communications or Marketing;
• Minimum of eight years’ experience;
• Agency experience is preferred;
• Strategic business thinking and strong problem solving skills;
• Proficient in creating and supporting client deliverables and other meeting documents;
• Good team player; strong communications skill and multi-task handling skill;
• Diplomatic in dealing with internal clients/senior management Excellent written and spoken
  English and fluent in Putonghua;
• Consulting / Big Four / law firm / strategy firm experience will be a plus; and
• Candidate with less experience will be considered for a Manager position.
