Human Resources Supervisor-APS-Tianjin-15000432
Work Location: Tianjin
To supervise the coordination, administration and development of various human resources services and functions within an EPD facility.
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
This position is generally the top human resource position in a facility of more than 300 people. It reports to the HR Manager of retail strategic business of EPD and be responsible for the facility HR team.
Provide direction to Facility Management in interpretation and application of employee-related policies, practices and procedures, as well as international laws if applicable, governmental regulations, and internal investigations in order to enhance consistency and maintain/improve the work environment of the facility.
Supervise job functions including the following:
Organizational design and workforce planning
Performance Management Process.
Employee and leadership development
Employee Opinion Survey analysis and communication.
Facility engagement process
Communication of EPD strategy, retail business and facility information.
New employee orientation.
Counseling of all levels of management, salaried & hourly employees.
Employee issues and problems.
Relocations and International Service Employee (ISE) issues.
Labor Relations issues.
Annual Succession Planning process.
Employee Services, including transportation, visitor host and cafeteria etc.
Various other human resources related duties.
The position supervises a work unit of staff management and salaried where planning, scheduling, monitoring and reviewing work of subordinates is required. The position is responsible for all personnel issues and performance evaluation of subordinates
Typical internal customers include the employees at all levels in the facility. The position is challenged to quickly and correctly identify problems, which may not be obvious. May develop solutions to complex problems. The incumbent solves problems by determining the best course of action, within departmental guidelines, from many existing solutions. The jobholder knows in advance the details of what needs to be done to serve customers and the standard procedures in place to accomplish it.
Required Qualifications:
Typically requires an awareness and expertise in multiple areas of human resources.
Needs to consider both traditional and non-traditional approaches to human resource management. Typically requires some experience in labor relations, benefits, compensation, personnel and training with a working knowledge of operations. Previous supervisory experience is required. The position typically requires a college or university degree or equivalent experience of 4 to 6 years of practical human resource assignments. Must possess strong human relations and communications skills, along with organization planning and personal computer proficiency.
