POSITION :

Terminologist, documentation (Jiading, Sandvik Mining)



SCOPE:



Responsible for:

Ensuring excellent English and Chinese grammar is used in documentation

Keeping Sandvik Mining term bank up to date.

leading term definition work when new technologies are implemented to Sandvik products and services

Localizing terms created in other languages to Chinese

Localizing customer documentation, such as instruction and parts manuals, in to Chinese

Managing localization process for customer documentation to different language versions

Assisting documentation team in documentation printing and deliveries



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:



· Strong focus on safety is a must, in planning and implementing technical documentation systems and processes in line with SMC's OH&S policies, procedures and objective at all times.

· Follow Mining global documentation standards in localization work

· Training documentation team and other stakeholders for grammar and usage of harmonized expressions in documentation
