Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities

1. Generate avionics electronic detail design requirements, design description documentation, and verification test methods/procedures for avionics hardware electronic designs 2. Translating top-level avionic system requirements into detailed electronic architecture and low-level circuit card design 3. Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews 4. Define test plans and develop test cases for avionics integration, verification and certification testing 5. Generate avionics verification procedures and report documentation 6. Execute verification tests in lab environment 7. Provide mentoring to junior electronic engineers 8. Generate project planning artifacts including estimates, and conceptual avionics hardware electronic designs 9. Interfacing with customers and other stakeholders

Qualifications/Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering2. Minimum 7 years of hands on experience in electronic analog design3. Good verbal and written English and Chinese skills

Desired Characteristics

1. Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronic Engineering2. Experience in analog signal conditioning or precision analog to digital conversion3. Experience in analog circuit modeling.4. Experience in Analog/Digital, Digital/Analog conversion5. Experience in Printed Circuit Board layout, board design and / or debug6. Experience in Application Specific Integrated Circuits design7. Experience in avionics hardware interface design, airborne microprocessor hardware interface design8. Experience in switching power supply design9. Experience in electronic designs to meet Electromagnetic Interference/Electromagnetic Compatibility requirements for airborne hardware10. Experience in developing electronic design and test for the aviation industry to meet DO-254/DO-160 standards11. Experience with all phases of electronic development from conceptual design and architecture to manufacturing and test for production delivery12. Experience with PSpice, LTSpice, and Mentor Graphics electronic development tools
