Role Summary/Purpose

The Executive – PMO will be a key member of the leadership team in the newly formed Financial Operations (FinOps) organization. FinOps is GE’s global finance and accounting operations organization supporting all GE businesses in Latin America, India, China and MENAT.

Essential Responsibilities

The Executive – PMO will provide overall leadership for the major transformation of accounting operations support in one of the key FinOps regions including people, process, and IT/Systems support as well as the implementation of new company-wide key financial processes. This position will require a strong change advocate who can mobilize and organize many different functions and people and align all towards a common vision of process quality and rigor. • Provide overall leadership for implementing the company wide Enterprise Standards in the designated region utilizing strong change management skills and experiences and process improvement best practices • Partner with the regional CFO to identify and define the financial processes needed in the region and execute in-line with the company wide finance enterprise standards Create and implement overall project deliverables, objectives, and budget for this large scale regional project Implement and drive an operating rhythm to hold the team accountable to on time deliverables and within budget. Identify risks and develop, recommend, and implement risk mitigation solutions Partner with the global financial enterprise standard process owners to drive the implementation of the standards in the region and leverage other global expertise in order to achieve scale and reduce cost • Provide leadership, direction, and change management expertise to the six Project Managers assigned to each of the enterprise standards preferably using Lean Six Sigma methodologies and practices • Serve as a change agent by seeking, sharing and implementing best practices from global peers in order to simplify finance processes in the region • Communicate progress, status and issues to Champions and business leaders

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college • At least 5 years experience in a finance or accounting related role • At least 8 additional years of progressive experience in a functional area that is supported by a Six Sigma or quality position
