Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities

Reporting to the Data Management Focal, the Data Management Specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating and reporting on delivery and receipt of project information, to and from Customers and Suppliers, for assigned programs. • Make and receive deliveries of project information to customers and suppliers. • Coordinate with customer, contracts, and project team organizations to assure data management requirements are met. • Maintain official contract file for data activities • Prepare master data schedule; maintenance of applicable database • Maintain status of data deliveries; approvals, rejections and delinquencies • Participate in audits and reviews as needed • Communicate status and problems to project leaders and management • Assure proper documentation of tech data generated for assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures • Perform all assigned tasks including definition, approach, analysis, review, and implementation on schedule and within budget • Make decisions by applications of specialized knowledge / skills • Recommend technical approach, required resources, and schedule interfaces with other departments, as required • Support on-going process improvement activities.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 3 years Data Management or other business administration experience • Direct experience in Data Management • Excellent English language skills. • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office software applications • Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
