Role Summary/Purpose

Essential Responsibilities

- Fulfills all required responsibilities and duties as a product engineer by following engineering guidelines and procedures. - Transfers/creates and maintains 3D/2D engineering drawings of all hydraulic components including pumps and meters. - Ensures designs up-to-date with the latest versions from related (global) design owners. - Provides support to product development team with the required hydraulic components and necessary configurations as well as design principles and guidelines. - Progresses work as an integrated part of the project team, to ensure completion to agreed timescales - Works closely with locally quality team supporting failure analysis and correction plans. - Leads local research and development project as required without seeking external assistance.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor's degree on Hydraulic system, Fluid Mechanics or other Mechanical related engineering disciplines. Mater's degree is much preferred.• 8-10 years design experience on hydraulic products including pumps, fluid meters, motors, valves and etc.• Grasps principles of fluid mechanics and able to educate co-engineers on the basics.• Good command of both verbal and written English and able to understand English drawings and to establish effective discussions with counterparts in other locations worldwide.• Work experience in multi-national organisations is preferred. • Strong computer skill with Solidworks and AutoCAD is MUST.
