职位描述
Purpose of the position
— As directed by Department Head, provide translation support for other matters and initiatives in the Asia Pacific region and globally.
— Be an active member of the Department Services team reporting to Department Head.
Principal responsibilities
— Translate various documents, including contracts, Letter of Intent, Memorandum of Understanding, memos and other documents as required in the team
— To the extent that is the department-related, translate term sheets, proposals, major pieces of communications with customers and/or government authorities etc.
— To the extent that is the department-relatedand Co. Sec function requires, assist to translate corporate documents (e.g. shareholders’ resolutions, board resolutions, meeting minutes, articles of association, business licenses and government approval documents etc.)
— Conduct interpretation during negotiation meetings when required

— Good computer skills in both Chinese and English, including without limitation, Word and Excel

Required qualifications/experience
— Education in law or English with a bachelor degree from a renowned university in China
— At least 1 year of experience in translation required in the relevant areas, such as commercial transactions, projects, etc. at a law firm or internal law department
— Proven track record in China
— Fluent in written and spoken English and Mandarin Chinese (including legal language and terminology)
— Ability and commitment to travel, sometimes at short notice
— Industry knowledge in the industrial gases sector is a plus
