Due to dynamic growth and exciting plans for this year as well as huge ongoing expansion Elekta Shanghai is looking for C/C++ Senior Software Development Engineer.

This position is to develop large-scale scientific computing software for Oncology Treatment Planning System(TPS), including a collection of OO Design & Implementation of a Flexible Software Architecture, Image processing and pattern recognition, Advanced 2D/3D Graphic Programming, Data Structures & Mathematics-Numerical & Optimization Algorithms, GPU Parallel Computing and beyond…

Working in Focal/Focal4D/Monaco/ABSS Software team, the candidate will, as member of global team, be involved into whole life cycle of software development, researching new technology and implementing algorithms/architectural designs. The candidate will gain experience of developing large-scale comprehensive software system. Besides, the candidate will work with a global team to help set technology direction and drive our infrastructure forward.

Job Requirements (skills/experiences/Qualifications)
- 1~5 years experience in software development (experience in several medium/large projects expected).
- Very good knowledge of C/C++ object-oriented programming.
- Deep software debugging skill.
- Good expertise in the software development process (Waterfall, Scrum).
- Bachelor degree in Engineering and Computer Science or equivalent.

Nice to have:
- Solid programming skill in C++ templates.
- Rich experience in Architecture Design and Design patterns.
- Strong experience in Design, Analysis and Improving the efficiency of algorithms.
- VC/MFC, GDI/OPENGL/DIRECTX, CUDA/OPENCL, STL/BOOST, Multithreading.
- SVN, Continuous Integration. CPPUnit/GMock.

- Smart, quick learner and strong analytical skills.

- Fluent in English.

Main responsibilities:
- Participates in software development (design, prototypes, code writing, unit testing, documentation).
- Works closely with the team in US using e-mail and conference call.
- Works closely with the team in US to develop plans for the team and assign works to team members.
- Educates and trains co-workers on product and technology issues, when requested.
- Interpret requirements into preferable technical solution and drive the architecture and its design phases.
- Reviews code and product.
- Conducts interviews for potential new employees as requested.
- Organizes conference call with the teams in US.
