Title: IT Warehouse Solution Consultant

Reports to: Head, IT Warehouse Solution
Overall Role Purpose
This role is responsible to support the delivery of the implementation of Supply Chain’s IT Warehouse Solution in the China cluster.
This starts from the requirement analysis, solution design, technical specification, system configuration, EDI design, and also testing, all the way from the project’s kick off to the project’s go-live, ensuring a successful transition to operation.
The role is responsible for requirements analysis, technical specification and system configuration for IT project implementation in China

Key activities
Business Partner
Build strong working relationships with the business operational teams.
Support the development of effective customer solutions in accordance to the IT Strategy and in conjunction with the Regional IT Solutions Team.
Work closely with the principal software vendor and the regional Warehouse Solution team to identify the right solution to the requirements
Country IT Team
Create strong relationships within the country IT team
Support the IT Customer Solution team in designing the right solution as part of the RFP process
Communicate IT Value through engaging the operation team and identify, propose and deliver efficient solution to help improving their operational KPIs
Customer / Business IT requirements
Gather, document and analyse business / customer requirements
Work with the teams to translate customer / business requirements into functional / technical specifications.
IT Build
Configuration of mainstream IT product (including in-country tasks as well as regional tasks for China)
Management of outsourcing projects for IT build
Plan and coordinate IT and user testing
IT Run Support
Assist users with defining and documenting run issues for escalation and resolution through regional service desk
Provide production support for in-country solution components
Direct report to country IT Warehouse Solution Head.
Support knowledge sharing of business and products within the IT Team.
Communication – actively contribute to the communication structure in place i.e. weekly / monthly team meetings.
Skills / Qualifications

Key capabilities / Competencies
Bachelor degree or above in IT or computer science
Fluent in English (verbal and written)
Minimum 3-5 years’ experience within IT
Minimum 3 years project delivery experience
Strong Analytical skills
ERP/WMS Implementation experience
Experience with Manhattan and/or JDA Red Prairie WMS is preferable – other WMS experience will be considered
More than 3 year of full-cycle implementation projects experience
Strong knowledge and experience of SQL Query
Ability to present and communicate his/her thoughts clearly in English and/or Chinese
