Essential Responsibilities

• Perform sourcing, negotiation, contract review, supplier audit, review of project status and supplier feedback for assigned sourcing categories/projects.
• Develop sourcing strategy for assigned sourcing categories basing the internal customer needs and external market situation.
• Initiate and drive the projects for cost saving without compromising quality and service
• Initiate and drive the projects for process/system optimization to fulfill the compliance requirement and improve the operation effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
• Release orders basing the purchase request and follow up the whole buy to pay process to support the daily operations.
• Relative database maintain and report out.
• Control and rationalize the supplier base.
• Any ad-hoc assignment from sourcing manager
• Ensure Compliance to government regulations and GE policy

Qualifications/Requirements

• Solid understanding of Sourcing processes
• Demonstrated Strategic Sourcing skills; experience in analyzing market dynamics, value chains and supplier landscapes to develop supply strategies.
• Be able to build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers/stakeholders from multiple functions and business units.
• Be able to build and maintain strong supplier relationships
• Strong process and facilitation skills
• Strong change management and project management Skills
• Marketing intelligence
• Excellent negotiation skills
• High energy and self-motivated with excellent communication skills.
• Self-starter, independent thinker, proactive in solving problems
• Be able to energize on driving cost out
• Maintains high level of ethics, quality, safety and environmental standards in all aspects of the business.
• Sourcing and supply chain experience
• BS degree in engineering or Business
• Fluent in English and Mandarin, both oral and written.
• Good Excel skill
• 5+ years indirect procurement experience in multi-national companies
