IT@DNV is the internal IT organization of DNV, responsible for delivering a wide range of IT capabilities and capacities to the business areas, corporate units and end users worldwide. The global IT departments constitute more than 200 employees in a growing organization of over 9000 employees worldwide. Service management globally in IT@DNV is following ISO20000 standard and ITIL model.


IT@DNV AP Global Service Center and Application Service Center with over 30 employees are set in Shanghai. Different kinds of IT services are being provided here for Asian time zone, including Global Service Desk, Deskside support, server maintenance, network support, software approval/scripting, application support, application development and etc.


Global Service Desk is first contact point for users to submit IT request. 24*5 English support of GSD is a virtual service operated by six GSD notes from different time zones. GSD Shanghai is one of the six notes and is responsible for AP time zone.


GSD Shanghai is a team with the average age of 25. It is positive, active and united team with full of energy.


This position is permanent DNV employee. We offer chances on training and personal development based on your competence and performance.

Major Duties:

- Provide 1st line phone and email support in AP time zone for DNV users worldwide

  • Create cases for each user request
  • Restore normal service agreed at 1st line as quickly as possible. Typical cases handled in GSD are client site issue, account management, permission management, application installation issue and etc.
  • Liaise with specialised support groups to achieve solutions. Make sure all the cases get followed properly.
  • Promote a positive customer experience with IT support.

- Participation in task/projects per requests.



Qualifications:

- Have proficiency in English – spoken and written is a must

- Have relevant computer education with minimum bachelor degree is required

- Be customer-oriented and have effective communication skills

- Good at time management

- Maintain a high team spirit and have a proactive attitude

- With 1-2 years end user IT support experience is preferred
