DNV Software has acquired the global risk management software provider Synergi Solutions AS. The acquisition brings together two leading players within asset integrity and operational integrity management.
Synergi Solutions is strong on risk management in the operational phase - which has been an area of focus for growth for DNV Software. Synergi Enterprise Risk Management System is already used by over 170 companies worldwide, with the majority of the users in Europe. By capitalizing on DNV Software's global organization, there is a potential for growth in new markets. The Synergi brands will continue, while the company will be integrated with DNV Software.
DNV Software has identified a large market potential for Synergi applications (Mainly QHSE) in China and is looking to recruit a customer focussed and result oriented Sales Manager to join DNV Software Area Greater China.

Responsibilities
The Sales Manager will work closely with the China sales and support team and Synergi Business Development Manager to develop the business. The successful applicant will take responsibility for selling all Synergi software products and solutions to the China Market. The role will require meeting and exceeding sales target as well as developing close relationships with customers in the region.

Your work task will include:
- Responsibility for marketing analysis and potential customer development
- Respond to clients requests for quotation and build QHSE sales pipeline
- Software presentation, demonstration and promotion
- Build and maintain relationship with customers
- Establish and execute sales plan and ensure to achieve sales target
- Coordinate Training and Marketing activities
- Collect customer's feedback and help Business Development Manager to identify market needs.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to promote the software
- Project management when needed

Qualifications
The successful candidate must be business oriented, self-disciplined and with interest in software and computer utilization. He or She can work well independently as well as in a team.

The position requires regular contacts with clients in the region and risk management stakeholders within DNV Software and DNV. Regular travel within the China is thus to be expected.

The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:

- Educated to degree level in a scientific or engineering discipline
- Major in environmental or Safety engineering is preferred
- At least 5 years' experience in QHSE field with good understanding of technical and business needs
- Good understanding of the industry sectors we are serving and the ability to pursue new opportunities
- Good communications in both Chinese and English language
- Good presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationship with customers
- Result oriented and commercial mindset.
- Interests in software application and capacity to self-learning
