Asia Pacific and Middle East is strategic importance to DNV Software. Both sales & marketing department and software development are represented in this region, and all of them foresee increasing business and the need for fast growing resource and strong team of well qualified employees.
In order to reach the business goals set for the next 5 years, recruiting of both local technical, supporting and expatriates is important. Training, organizational development and compensation are also important issues to be addressed in order to retain talent and make DNV Software Asia Pacific and Middle East an attractive working environment.
The current organization contains 60 plus employee in 4 areas, in this dynamic and very fast growing market, there is a strong need to strengthen the HR function within DNV Software Asia Pacific and Middle East than existing HR services from DNV Admin Hub in Shanghai, China.
We therefore find ourselves in need of Human Resources Manager to support our units in China as well as rest of the organization in Asia Pacific & Middle East.


Major Duties

Responsibilities include recruitment and selection, training, organization developments, communication, compensation strategy, expatriate administration, general HR administration, etc.
In addition the successful applicant will have to focus on operational procedures, obligations according to Labor Law, social security, employer/employee relations and development of smooth and efficient systems and processes for serving our employees within the HR area at different countries and/or locations in Asia Pacific and Middle East.
You will be expected to work independently within several of these fields.
The HR Manager reports to Regional Manager directly as part of Regional management team, and coordinate with DNV Software HR Manager in head office as well as HR officers in different hubs within Asia pacific and Middle East.


Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who have:
- A recognized education in HR or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years HR experience with a good mix of academic and practical knowledge/skills.
- A belief in continuous improvement including development of our work processes and systems.
- An interest and ability to execute HR administration as an important premise for HR management in the operating units.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills at all organizational levels.
- Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese languages.
