High level Position Purpose
Support rail product to achieve the strategy and CM1/Volume targets by coordinating the sales teams.
Support rail product to do the solution providing to sales teams according to customer’s needs.
Support rail product to designing and setup new corridors/gateways to Europe/CIS/RUSSIA via Rail/Ocean-rail/Truck-Rail mode.
Support rail product to do well communication with OP and CS teams for the smooth handlings.
Environment
Based in Shanghai but overall responsible for Rail Product development for Asia regional including but not limited to PRE/PRW.
Functional reporting to Rail Product manager
Responsibilities for the position
？ Support the implementation of the rail product strategy for Damco China.
？ Provide solution of the Rail product offering across the clusters.
？ Act as technical resource for the clusters and actively engage with existing and new customers for their continuous support.
？ Give functional guidance and expertise to support the local operations teams of the clusters in achieving operational excellence, optimal productivity and profitability.
？ Support development of products in close cooperation with cluster/branches/Regional Product/overseas network and facilitate trade lane development as per overall China Rail strategy. Cooperate closely and drive implementation of carrier management strategy across region.
Requirements
？ Around 3 years of industry experience (NVOCC, Freight forwarding, Rail forwarding) At least 5 years in logistics industries.
？ Ability to work and thrive in a flexible matrix organisation with focus on networking and collaboration.
？ Good interpersonal and communication skills
？ Team player with proven ability to work under pressure
？ Good for service delivery and cost effectiveness – and for identifying how to constantly improve.
？ Self- drive, initiative and engagement – ability to work self-directed and well organised.
？ Good speaking and writing English communication skills; Putonghua essential
