Payment and Cash Management (PCM)

As more corporate and institutional clients continue to consolidate their banking activities with the introduction of payments and cash management services, the potential growth of this business is substantial. We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

·Responsible for the profitability of the assigned products and services.

·Responsible for developing and managing the products assigned to ensure that the products meet the market needs and contribute towards the overall PCM objectives

·Ensuring that all products comply with local regulations, HSBC group policies and internal procedures.

·Improve HSBC’s profile, marketshare and ‘share or mind’ in the marketplace vis-à-vis the competition

·In consultation with the product team in ASP PCM, develop plans to close local product gaps anywhere possible to enhance our competitiveness.

·Contribute to the development, formulation and growth of the PCM business in the area assigned.

·Manage the operational risks inherent in HBCN PCM and reduce the level of operational risk losses and protect the Bank from foreseeable future losses.

·Maintain HSBC internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy and maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring.

Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

·Bachelor degree or above (Recognized by the state)

·5-10 years relevant working experience, with minimum 4 years of cash management experience preferably in the area of product management.

·Possesses project management skills.

·Demonstrated ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively at all levels and across functions

·Good command of spoken and written English and presentation skill in English and Chinese

·Good analytical skills and computer knowledge (i.e. Microsoft Office, Excel, word and PowerPoint.)
