Activities:

· Provide coolants technical support to all Arteco stakeholders

o Arteco sales people

o Customers: OEM’s (Original Equipment Manufacturers), independent blenders, chemical distributors and independent marketers

o Supply chain: toll blenders and suppliers

· Develop and provide technical training to both Internal and External customers (including the development of technical sales support material for chemical distributor sales personnel)

· Provide product recommendations where required.

· Provide impartial support to parent companies where applicable / required to assist them to develop their coolants business.

· Handle customer complaints where technical in nature.

· Develop technical presentation material for sales team as well as develop and make technical presentations at appropriate forums to support the development of Arteco business (Public forums as well as at Customer level)

· Close liaison with sales / marketing colleagues to ensure any marketing materials developed are technically correct for publication and/or distribution (Translation from English where applicable)

· Develop and maintain relationships at key / target OEMs to secure approvals / recommendations.

· Coordinate and support fleet / field Trials – Develop procedures and follow-up to ensure fleet / field trials are being conducted correctly and timeously – Consolidate test data for presentation to appropriate persons within organization (internal and at Customer)

· Actively participate in industry bodies / associations / governing bodies where the image of Arteco as a ‘Coolants Solution Provider’ can be highlighted and enhanced and where Arteco can influence direction.

· Collect competitor information and market trends (including competitive product benchmarking)

· Liaison and Coordination with 3^rd-party labs for local testing requirements

· Provide Technical / Lab and Production / Blending Support to Blending Partners

· Manage Production specifications

· Address technical question related to raw materials

Qualifications / Experience Knowledge

1. College degree or higher with major in a chemical or mechanical discipline (Chemical preferred)

2. Good command of both spoken and written English.

3. Good communication and presentation skills.

4. Strong/ extensive technical support and/or product research background (past experience in engine coolants or automotive cooling systems will be a STRONG advantage for candidate)

5. Minimum 10 years work experience (preferably at least half of this time with exposure to Engine Coolants)

6. Accepts the need for frequent and extensive business travel (mainly in-country, however also overseas incl. Belgium, so ability to make overseas trips essential)

7. Self-driven / motivated with strong desire to succeed

8. Team player and yet also able to work independently under remote guidance.

9. Ability and Desire to learn and develop quickly within organization.
