? Passion for technology based solution sales
? Ability and energy to take the initiative and make things happen in a changing and competitive environment
? Deep and proven understanding of one, or all, of the solutions areas of backup & recovery, archiving and Enterprise Content Management Software products and storage infrastructure together with the ability and experience to link them to solve customer’s business problems.
? Strong knowledge and understanding of competitive landscape in the backup & recovery, archiving and Enterprise Content Management marketplace in SEA region and/or specific local ASEAN countries.
? Track record in meeting and exceeding growth consistently
? Influencing and phone based communication skills
? Strong relationship with key decision makers and influencers in organizations
? Responsible for creating and driving sales pipeline.
? Capture leads outside of specialization and use closed-loop lead management to ensure assignment and follow-up by others.
? Maintain knowledge of competitors in accounts to strategically position HP's products and services better.
? Use specialty expertise to seek out new opportunities and expand and enhance existing opportunities to build the pipeline in and drive pursuit.
? Provide support to Account managers and provide input regarding business development and solution expertise.
? Development of quota objectives and future direction for defined product category.
? Establish a professional, working, and consultative, relationship with the client, up to and including the C-level for named accounts across China region, by developing a core understanding of the unique business needs of the client within their industry.
? May invest time working with and leveraging external partners to deliver sale.
? Directs or coordinates supporting sales and presales activities
? A proven team player.
Education and Experience Required:
University or Bachelor's degree
Direct related previous work experience.
Demonstrated achievement of progressively higher quota, diversity of business customer, and higher level customer interface.
Extensive selling experience within industry and on similar enterprise productsdata management solutions.
Typically 8-12 years of technical and sales experience.
5 years+ of product sales in the related solutions.
