Senior Pricing/Bus Analyst (EG China)
Position reports to China EG (Enterprise Group) Pricing Manager
Become part of a high performing China EG Pricing team at HP, and act as a strategic partner in supporting the EG Leadership Team by developing price analytics concepts to optimize sales revenues and profits.
The selected candidate would be joining the China EG Pricing Team as a Pricing Analyst. He/she would play a key role in understanding the broad spectrum of pricing activities across the various HP EG businesses, identify areas of analytical engagement and support the deployment of pricing initiatives in China.
Key Responsibilities:
? Understand HP’s various Pricing strategies through interviews and discussions with the region product category and finance managers
? Identify analytical solutions (including explore existing solutions) that meet business needs
? Develop and implement pricing models for multiple business lines and market segments to drive competitive advantage while maximizing profit
? Analyze and understand customer buying behaviors; strategize and coach sales on the outcomes
? Closely collaborate with the China EG Business Units, China EG Finance and HP Operations Team to drive the implementation of the pricing analytics tools
? Develop strategic approach to pricing analytics and help implementing it in the day-to-day business operations
? Work closely with the China EG Leadership Team and China Sales Management to drive the definition and implementation of the different pricing models according to the company’s business strategy
? Proactively gather market & competitive pricing intelligence
? Continuously analyze the price trends in the market, recommending the course of action to take accordingly
? Support ad-hoc complex business opportunities requiring a tailored pricing approach
Qualifications:
? Education: MBA Preferred
? 10+ years of experience in Finance, Pricing or Business Analytics in the global hi-tech industry, in a multi-product environment
? Experience in a matrix reporting environment
? Solid reputation and credibility with business
? Ability to manage a fast moving, market oriented and dynamic work environment
? English proficiency is a must

? Superior business application skills (e.g., Microsoft Excel).
? Excellent interpersonal communication skills and an ability to influence
