职位描述
Production Supervisor Job Purpose: Manufactures products by supervising staff; organizing and monitoring work flow. responsible for planning, monitoring of work, coaching staff, counselling, bringing in a new working system, hiring and recruiting staff as per the need, and solving production-related problems, Quality control of production . Efficient work of these supervisors can assure the smooth functioning of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
? Conduct, lead, or implement the appropriate process audits; the audits will identify the need for the appropriate containment, corrective, and preventive actions, leading to minimizing or eliminating process deviations and non-conforming product root causes.
? Direct reports, Planning, Team Leader Assembly, Team Leader Welding, Purchasing team, Distribution/ Parts Supervisor
? Ensure all Technical compliant meeting all legal requirements in country. H&S, HR and Environmentally.
? Provide leadership to drive continuous improvement in H&S safety, quality, productivity and costs.
? Participate in daily monitoring and achievement of meeting company, customer and manufacturing targets to include quality metrics and customer communication requirements.
? Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
? Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees; developing personal growth opportunities.
? Maintains work flow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
? Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
? Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
? Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
? Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data; answering questions and responding to requests.
? Creates and revises systems and procedures by analyzing operating practices, record-keeping systems, forms of control, and budgetary and personnel requirements; implementing change.
? Maintains safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources; maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures.
? Maintains working relationships internal and external with union/ Labour by following the terms of the agreement.
? Resolves personnel problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action.
? Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational training; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking new practices.
? Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
? Conducting safety drills to prepare employees for emergency situations
? Conducting safety drills to prepare employees for emergency situations
? Conducting internal training of Production workers in order to train workers in better work methods
Requirement:
? Minimum education required: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in technical field with Business Management study, degree in production management or operations management would be an idea
? Years of relevant experience: Minimum of five (8) years Supervisorexperience.
? Knowledge and experience with International companies working with multi-site facilities a plus.
? Familiarity with Business Management, Quality, Production Engineering, Production Engineering primary job responsibility.
? Knowledge and experience in the manufacturing.
? Proven skills in Quality Management system
? Efficient in utilizing Lean Manufacturing Principles; value stream mapping, waste reductions and Five ‘S” Activities.
? Outstanding analytical, problem-solving and decision skills.
? Possess a “hands-on/lead-by-example leadership style with the energy to continually deliver results.
? Experience with ERP systems, eg. Infor/Syteline, Solid Works, CAD.
? Accountability for Support of any Production related issues that may surface from Production.
? Possess skills and traits that solicit employee relationships and promote a “team environment”. (Lead not “manage”.)
? Communicate simply, clearly and often to all levels, be firm, fair and consistent with employees. ?
? Must possess the ability to overcome resistance to organizational change, influence others, and lead change initiatives.
? Travel might be required nationally and International.
