IT Service Manger
About the Organisation:
The company is one of the best-known and most respected healthcare companies in the world.
Key Responsibilities:
coordinate with multiple stakeholders in delivering projects and support activities on time and within budget
responsible to cover China IT support related work including production support, incident management, problem resolving, business requests and local regulatory support to compliance team
perform business analysis and prepare requirements documents for enhancements and defect fixes
perform vendor management, budget planning and monitoring
manage the supporting team and review the service KPI and performance on time basis
review proposed solution and cost estimation from various delivery partners and L3 support groups and advise optimum option
Understand requirements from local business and internal compliance; provide governance on ensuring the staff and IT solutions adhere to company policies, security risk standards, and compliant to local regulations
lead the supporting team to pass all regulatory inspections, external and internal audits
prioritize the requirement based on business impact and urgency
undertake non-functional analysis & design reviews to complement local and regional change initiatives; SIT, UAT and PROD Build release scheduling and planning
define test plan and ensure the progress of UAT to meet the build release plan
closely working with the BUIT BAs in ensuring successful execution of production support and maintenance activities adhering to the organizational targets of quality, timeliness and costs
check for quality, completeness and adherence to SDLC for all deliverables
tracking and managing project progress, from analysis through to deployment
coordinating and managing cross team and country dependencies
identifying, managing, resolving or mitigating cross team risks; Escalating risks to the reporting manager, where necessary
act as an escalation point for the User
coordinating, facilitating and support the SIT , UAT and performance testing activities
stakeholders management includes close cooperation with business, business unit IT, regional & local IT stakeholders in support of projects and supporting activities; ensure customer satisfaction and take up continuous improvement initiatives
Key Requirements:
minimum six years of IT experience, of which the last three years have been in Application development and / or production support role
bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, MIS or related field
experience in coordination the development / support activities across multiple applications
experience in management supporting team
experience with global delivery model to manage multiple service providers spread across multiple countries will be an advantage
demonstrate leadership skill in leading a small team in project delivery
sound business analysis and technical resolution skills
strong coordination and communications skills
PMP and ITIL preferred
manage multiple stakeholders and manage to negotiate requirement priority / cost etc at all levels
ability to multi-task as supporting multiple and concurrent projects are necessary
proficiency in oral and written English and Mandarin
manage to work under minimum supervision
good planning and organizing skill
