KAM Job Description
Position: Key Accounts Manager, Sytia + Retail Accounts – Asia
Department: Key Accounts Management, Asia
Reports to: KAM Leader, Key Accounts Management
Purpose & general responsibilities of the position:
To manage clients relationship and ensure that Damco is getting the full value out of the customer relationship through continuous growth and development as partners. This happens through challenging the status quo and selling win/win solutions.
To manage projects that both add value to and create competitive advantage for the client’s business, whilst driving additional revenue streams into the Damco organization. Ensure growth of Damco CM1 with the assigned customers and their subsidiaries.
Ensure the client remains highly satisfied with the service received from Damco.
Actively communicate, safeguard and promote clients’ and team’s interest within global accounts management team.
Key objectives are relationship and CM1 with THD and assigned retail accounts.
Specific responsibilities of the position:
? Deliver commercial target for existing business expansion and new business
? Maintain and develop good relationship with client
? Closely communication with internal and external stake holders to achieve win-win
? Drive various projects to generate additional revenue
? Create and maintain regional development plans or key accounts plans periodically for review in local management and global key accounts management teams.
? Analyze complex supply chain problems. Solve and design suitable sales or improvement presentation to client stakeholders to drive the development of the projects.
? Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering the contractual agreed services and developments.
? Create and conduct best practise sharing with other accounts where and when relevant
? Generate new ideas through close collaboration with business unit leaders to satisfy unmet client needs, specially related to the respective vertical
? Support the pursuit of new customers of Damco
Measurement / success criteria of the position:
? Organic growth Targets – CM1
? Organic growth Targets – Renewal business
? New and Additional sales targets
? Client satisfaction & relationship management, including customer satisfaction survey score (CSS)
? Support to vertical clients development
? Ability to meet all customer and internal KPI’s
? Ability to communicate and work with various internal/external stakeholders

? Solid operational background and hand-on experience with MODS and other internal systems
? Knowledge of the China business and logistics market (air/ocean/Rail, SCM, CL)
? Good understanding of international supply chain
? Be able to work independently, and willing to travel upon business requirements
? Problem solving skills and customer service skills
? Ambitious and result oriented self starter with initiative and strong drive
Preferred:
? Accounts Management experience
? Project management skills
? Excellent analytical problem solving skills
? SCM/forwarding and other Logistics experience
? Knowledge of the Asia business and logistics market
? Knowledge of manufacturing and exports from the Asia market
