职位描述

1.PRIMARY PURPOSE AND OVERALL OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB
Assist the finance controller to ensure that the manufacturing activities are conducted in full efficient/profitable way, in compliance with the local management and the corporate guidelines and policies. The candidate shall be strong enough:
- To manage / animate the budget process specifically for the cost of goods, and manufacturing functions and any financial analysis that may alert the Management and Corporate Finance of any risks and to propose preventive and corrective actions.
- Manage actual/standard cost systems. Manage financial integrity systems, and supervise the CO Module of SAP. Ensure financial information systems are meeting the needs of internal and external customers.
- The Controller assistant shall have good accounting technical skills and good SAP CO experience to support the finance controller for supervising the manufacturing activities and costing based in Shanghai.
- Communication skills are key as he/she will be the backup for finance controller as the interface with all the managers of the manufacturing companies, and may intervene in various areas and innovation plan (new business model for instance)

2.MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES

-Maintain and establish the methodology for the accurate and rationalized standard costs of the assigned location’s products, both purchase items and manufactured items. Assist finance controller to plan, organize and facilitate the budgeting process for the determination of cost of goods including unit volumes, labor and machine standards, material standards, department expenses, yield calculations, capital requirements and quality result calculations. Review and approve all changes to existing products to determine the cost impact. Participate in the development of new product costs from the early stage cost estimate until a post-transfer standard cost is developed and responsible for proper documentation and tracking;
-Be a partner to improve profitability and optimize the funds invested and the expenses in the subsidiary by managing cost control;
-Support finance controller to manage the strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes of the assigned manufacturing activities. Challenge the operational team at each step of the process. Drive business goals such as cost reduction initiatives, working capital management, and return on capital employed to ensure that they are adequately measured, managed and achieved. Assist finance controller to provide management with daily, weekly and monthly strategic tools, monitors & reports to drive the business results. Ensure that the financial reporting processes are in accordance with GAAP and the Company’s Financial Procedures, with an emphasis on manufacturing and inventory accounting issues such as product costing and FIFO valuation;
-Support headquarters financial personnel with best practice standardization, process improvement, cost, and productivity analyses;
-Support finance controller to develop the financial information systems of with Corporate IT and Finance Guidelines for manufacturing. SAP and also Business Intelligence tool;
-Thorough understanding of the reality of the manufacturing operations (walk the floor). Mentor and teacher of finance to the non-financial members of the plant team so the whole business team understands the cost drivers of their operations;
-Other tasks as defined in related company procedure, or assigned by the direct supervisor.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
1. University degree in Finance and administrative management
2. Not less than 8 years is require, >5 years working experience in costing or controlling is a plus
3. Good command of English both written and oral
4. Knowledge of ERP systems, MS Office and Database Management, good knowledge for SAP FICO module is a must
5. Good interpersonal skills and sense of diplomacy, team player
6. Leadership skills to influence transversally and drive projects to results
7. commercial site controlling knowledge is plus
