TASKS:
Full responsibility for the production site based in Guangzhou, China
Headcount approximately 500 persons, leading Production (shift work) of finished and semi-finished products
Planning
Quality Management
Purchasing/Qualifying Suppliers
Maintenance
Logistics/Supply Chain
Human Resources
Finance/Controlling
Close cooperation with Research & Development at lead plant in the Netherlands & regional Headquarter Asia Pacific
Coordination of all plant related activities from other local services
First interlocutor with regards to unions and works council
Close contacts to German Headquarters
Reports directly to Executive Vice President of the Business Unit


REQUIREMENTS:
Studies in a technical area, e.g. mechanical engineering, focus on automation technology/manufacturing, plastics
Management experience in production (& development) of disposables/in the field of complex production/plastics/food technology/automation processes
Experience in organizing a production site
Strong operational background, solution& result oriented, hands-on mentality
Highly developed social & intercultural competence and communication skills
Strong leadership personality, authentic and confident appearance
High level of integrity, credibility and loyalty - upright and open minded
Self-starter with high motivation and determination for performance
Experienced in leading multi-cultural project teams
Fluency in English – willing to relocate to China
Motivation and potential for further development in the company
