A leading investment bank is seeking a Production Management Engineer to drive their core IT system base in Shanghai.

Key Responsibilities:
- real time support for the Optimus DAL (data access layer) and RICE (RIsk Calculation Environment) 24x7
- execute all deployment work, be responsible for capacity planning,
- perform integration work, infrastructure management, stability management and downstream data delivery
- Production Management works closely with users, related development teams, upstream and downstream data suppliers and recipients to ensure a smooth delivery of services to its users
- direct interaction with traders, strats as well as technology groups involved in all aspects of electronic trading, trade capture and risk management

Key Requirements:
- work collaboratively across teams
- work within tight time constraints and resource dependencies
- excellent communication, problem solving organizational skills
- capable of effectively handling incidents for critical systems in a fast-paced environment
- strong infrastructure knowledge in Linux / Unix, Windows, databases, storage and networking technologies
- solid understanding of client-server applications and distributed systems
- experience with one or more of shell, perl and python scripting
- proven ability to deliver improvements to supported systems
- experience of supporting trading systems
