Job dimensions
Responsible for product development in China, which match customer specifications.
Mainly on Compounds PS. ？
Back-up in compact development. ？
Ensure UL, RoHS & CQC compliance for all grades. ？
Match new colors in due time. ？
Focus on value analysis of innovative raw materials. ？
Responsible for technical HSE compliance. ？
Follow up our product qualification at customer side. ？
Competitor material analyze and comparison.
Product Development: ？
Based on technical service feedback and customer needs, launch new grade development or improve existing grades with good margin, specially in Compounds and rPS compounds. ？
Define product specification based on customer requirement and plant capability. ？
PIC for dynamic formulation process with rPS based on evaluation of incoming recycling PS. ？
Color matching and color qualification management. ？
Follow external compounders, ensure their product is in line with our in house quality. ？
Produce as required compound samples on the pilot equipment (<200kg) with a dedicated technician. ？
Back-up on Compact Development.
New Business Development: ？
Closely work with Technical Service Team, and Business Development Manager. Propose development ideas. Defend its projects as Project Manager in front of the Business Development Manager and the Gate Keepers.
Communication: ？
Update technical service manager development projects and plant production. ？ Smooth communication with technical service engineer and business account manager, provide technical solutions to customers with satisfactory results promptly.
Raw material: ？
Search innovative raw material, understand technical information of raw materials. ？
Evaluate and approve new raw materials. ？
Follow raw material quality issue for daily production.
Customer complaints: ？
Coordinate with technical service, investigate the technical possibility for customer complaints and establish an action plan to solve.
RoHS/REACH/Legislation: ？
Make sure our products are UL, RoHS & CQC compliance by raw material control and production process.
Loss Control Responsibilities: ？
Ensure safe operation of PS technical laboratory activities ？
Ensure HSE impact/risk is considered for product development, raw materials selection ？
Participate in various loss control management activities - Detail in loss control performance standard.
