Requirements:
1. A bachelor’s degree in engineering, chemistry or related field of science is required. An advanced degree is a plus but not a requirement.
2. Prefer applicant who has knowledge of lubricant additive testing.
3. Experienced with a wide range of testing procedures (e.g. physical and chemical tests), trouble-shoots equipment or instruments, understands underlying operating principles.
4. Demonstrate ability to solve technical and process-related problems.
5. Demonstrate ability to implement and influence safe laboratory practices and operational safety programs.
6. Customer-focused with ability to recognize and adapt to changing business needs.
7. Experienced in prioritizing and managing customer requests.
8. Demonstrated ability to balance big-picture concerns with day-to-day activities.
9. Experienced with managing projects and organizing significant volume of work.
10. Demonstrate leadership, flexibility, initiative and ability to work on teams.
11. Ability and desire to develop strong people management skills to engage and inspire others and be willing to develop the skills necessary to manage differences and resolve conflict.
12. Demonstrated interpersonal and conflict management skills.
13. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent listening skills. Ability to communicate effectively to a wide variety of audiences.
14. Team-oriented, motivated, self-starter.
15. Ability to travel as required.
16. Minimum 5-10 years of experience in multi-national industry company in lubricant testing/technical services
17. Minimum 5 years of experience managing people and/or team leadership. Applicants have ability and desire to develop strong people management skills to engage and inspire others and be willing to develop the skills necessary to manage differences and resolve conflicts.
18. Applicants have ability to get work done through others and ability to work effectively with other departments and divisions
19. Fluent in English both written and verbal (CET 6 preferred).
