Responsibilities:
Technical engineering support - Support for the implementation, integration, and evolution of complex systems. Maintain monitoring and reporting for impact areas. Drive the build out and updates of network
Problem Solving: Provide technical expertise for resolving critical production systems issues. Ability to work with other cross-BU teams or members and WW L3 teams to troubleshoot complex support issues, identify root causes and develop mitigation options.
Requirements:
The position requires that the candidate is detail and results oriented with a good balance of passion for technology, solid problem solving skills and eagerness to accept ownership and accountability.
Ability to be highly self-directed when required and work closely within a team. Must effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks in accordance with high level objectives/projects. Strong communication, critical thinking and problem solving skills are required.
Strong triage/Debugging skills is a must.
5+ years’ network related experience required. H3C products is preferred
Expected areas of expertise include:
Operations Experience in a 24 x 7 x 365 enterprise environment
Familiar with networking technology-TCP/IP, MPLS, IGP, BGP, LB, QoS, etc.
Strong knowledge in DNS, deep understanding of OSI model, Strong knowledge in Hardware Troubleshooting, Networking essentials (Routers, switches, F5, ACL).
Strong interpersonal skills, written and oral communication as well as strong technical documentation skills are required.
BS/BA in Computer Science, math, telecommunications, or equivalent education or experience
