Job Title: Software Quality Engineer
Req No: 749360
Location: Shanghai
Job Description: Defines and implements software quality requirements to meet Intel standards. Works with Business stakeholders to define requirements appropriate to market segment and implements measures to track progress to requirements. Ensures product meets quality requirements before software is released to the customer. Analyze customer feedback and identify improvement actions for future projects.
Trains the team on quality engineering practices.
Drives effective software practices to ensure project work products comply with applicable standards, requirements. Provides input into program deliverables /milestones regarding quality (resources, schedule, goals, etc.) Drives actions from previous post-project reviews to closure as part of Product development team (PDT), including process/work product audits.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this experienced position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates:
Minimum Qualifications:
- You should possess a bachelor or master degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Operations Management, Organizational Management. Alternatively, certification in Software Engineering or Software Quality from an accredited institution.
- You must have a minimum of at least three years of experience preferably five years’ experience.
Candidates must have experience in the following
- Improving the quality of software, or the effectiveness of people or teams
- Data Analysis and Metrics generation techniques
- Knowledge of software development and build tools e.g. GIT, Code Collaborator, JIRA, Contour
- Understanding of Quality standards like ISO 9000 and models like CMMI
- Ability to perform user testing on embedded products is considered a plus
