Platform Application Engineer - 749584
Description
Responsible for the front line support for gateway and cable modem designs. The responsibilities include responding to customer technical questions on Intel related products, reproducing, clarifying and debugging customer issues and collaborating with engineers across different sites to resolve customer issues
Qualifications
Platform Software
- Familiar with application development under Linux environment
- Familiar with embedded system development
- C programming experience. Linux shell script experience a plus
Networking
- knowledge in networking including VLAN, SNMP, TCP/IP stack, IP table, and network performance test/analysis
- experience in designing cable modem, gateway or related products
