Our Global Sales team has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join us as a Corporate Account Manager, Guangzhou. Our aim in Global Sales is to acquire and develop contacts by selling and executing profitable solutions that can only be realised by a personal interaction “the human touch”. The key responsibility for the successful hire for the Corporate Account Manager, Guangzhou is to build effective relationships through account development and also drive significant incremental sales within South China Area.


Key responsibilities:

  • To drive significant sales growth and exceed sales targets within identified accounts through effective relationships across accounts to position RS as a preferred supplier
  • Develop effective Account Development & Compliance plans with short, medium and long term objectives to exceed portfolio sales/growth targets and to position RS as supplier of choice contractual agreements in portfolio accounts
  • To identify Customer needs and work with multi-functional teams to develop the profitable integration of relevant value added services with business operations, organize site shows and business review to demonstrate the RS value within Corporate Accounts
  • Co-ordinate and work primarily with Country Sales team and other departments as necessary to effectively deliver local account coverage, find new contacts and expand the range of products purchased
  • Use financial and customer data to analyse and drive compliance to preferential terms/service level contracts and ensure profitability


Requirements:

  • University graduate or equivalent, engineering background is an advantage
  • Minimum 5 years experience of cross border Corporate Account Management or Strategic Business Development and proven track record in Sales, preferably in a technical environment
  • Excellent understanding of the importance in managing complexities in large MNCs across borders
  • Possess good communication, value-selling, account management skills preferred
  • Fluent in spoken and written communication in English & Chinese
