Description
Job Description: In this position, you will join Data Plane Development Kit Software development team under Intel Communication and Storage Infrastructure Systems Group. You will work together with the open source community at www.dpdk.org. The primary responsibility includes the requirement analysis, feature design and implementation. The developed code patch will be sent to the mailing list, and you need work with the community comments and then ensure the feature upstream is accepted successfully. DPDK focus on the data plane and packet forwarding software workload optimization. Currently the networking industry is undergoing the transformation towards NFV and SDN. DPDK is a key software building block to make it happen. Your talent and passionate will help us to transform the industry.
Qualifications
- In-depth understanding of Linux/FreeBSD like system and Internals.
- In-depth understanding of computer architecture such as Intel architecture.
- Solid Packet processing and TCP/IP knowledge
- Good understanding of Linux networking experiences
- Solid C programming skills. Proficient with gcc/makefile/gdb tools.
- Computer science or equivalent background students with bachelor degree.
