Job Description Product Compliance a)The Supplier Quality Engineer assures that the assigned products meet all of the Bossard drawings and Bossard specifications regarding the manufacturing of the assigned hardware. b)Ensure product expectation of Customer / Bossard / Supplier are in Sync. Improve supplier inspection and process controls to eliminate the need for incoming inspection. c)Enhance global customer focus by supporting supplier base for KAM customer, improve LAR performance. Analyze trends, failure root cause and track supplier improvement actions. d)Conduct Source Inspection for assigned products by both BOC and BEU. -Process Compliance a)Conduct supplier process audits according to Brossards internal specification. b)Work with suppliers on quality improvement in the areas of defect detection, containment, and corrective action. c)Ensure Customer/Bossard/Supplier control plan and measurement method are correlated and in Sync. d)For high demand product (Q1- WP & automotive), ensure supplier understand, implement & document all required process steps (product & process design/control). e)Improve the FA success rate and cycle time. f)Work closely with the purchasers/engineers regarding the disposition of nonconforming material. g)Ensure timely and effective closure of supplier 8D and claim handling -Improve the Lot Acceptance Rate (LAR at IQC) by improving the quality level of our major suppliers. -Use quality systems and tools for the monitoring of supplier performance, including supplier ranking, BQS, BPIS and etc. -Participate in supplier selection and qualification together with Sourcing team. Update the needed feedback to purchasers/engineers to ensure a clear supplier status of each project or supplier quality issues.
Qualification Required: Bachelor degree, major in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Experience Required: More than 2 years experience on Supplier Quality Engineering or equivalent works in multinational companies
IT Exposure Good computer skills, windows applications such as Excel, Word and Auto CAD
Skills Required 1. Good communication and presentation skill. 2. Well-versed in ISO quality management systems & TS16949. 3. Bilingual in English and Chinese. 4. Good at SPC and Six-Sigma.
